This place is freaking amazing. First of all chips and salsa were really good. Better than the average big Mexican restaurant. Second of all our waiter was cool and served our foods quickly. Lastly they have free sopapia and ice cream for dessert. Why would anyone not like this place. I got the beef fajita tacos and they were bomb. Thanks and giggem

Food was awesome and the server was very friendly, outgoing and had a great attitude especially for a busy Saturday evening. Easy access from the roadway; prices were fair - you get free ice cream, tortiallas and sopaillas.

We had been looking all over Shreveport for great Mexican food. We found it today at Posados! While $28.99 is still a bit steep for chicken fajitas, they were delicious and the servings were huge. The salsa and queso were delicious. In all its very similar to Superior Grill. However the wait staff here was better and I will definitely be returning.

Great service! Our waiter was superb. Good chips, quest and salsa. Loved the tortillas. And butter and honey on the table. I had chicken enchiladas. Not as good as my homemade ones but good for a Resturant. Quesadillas my son had were perfecto!

Ok, it's not gourmet, but it's descent American-ish Mexican food. Prices are descent. Hot sauce is my favorite. Fresh tasting and not too spicy. Fresh made flour tortillas are super. Waitress was the bomb. :)

Not bad, but pricey $16.00 for fajitas for one. Total bill was $20.52. Food flavor was good but I barely squeezed 3 soft tacos out of it. They brought 10 tortillas to the table for 7 pieces of fajita meat. I guess I am used to the Mexican food restaurants in Houston. Always take some with me for breakfast. Service was o.k. not great, just o.k. but this area is lacking for outstanding Mexican table fare. Check it out! This may hit home runs with your palate, everyone's different.

Great family friendly place. Food is good - not amazing, but good. The chips and salsa, taco salad, and beef fajitas are recommended.

I really like the location and ate here before my son was born. He is 17 now. Anyway, the Mexican butter still steals the show. I have never found another place that serves Mexican butter with the fajitas and when they do it had no flavor. Pasados has a one of a kind approach with that. I have to say the chips were warm but a little stale and the second fill up of salsa lacked flavor almost like there was more water added. The fajitas were good and normal lunch portion but the rice and beans had a flavor that I wasn't digging. I am not bashing this institution because I like them to begin with. They do need a refresh of things now tired and work on some of the food taste and freshness but it's still a good reasonable eating spot. Good luck.

This place was really good. Ask for Melissa as your server, she is one of the best I have ever had as a server. The food is really good, good atmosphere, great service. No complaints at all. Highly recommended.

The food was edible but the service was awful. The guacamole was bland, everything needed salt. They did not have limes and they were out of ice cream! I will not be going back.

Without a doubt the WORST Mexican food I've ever had. The first table we were seated at was sticky so the moved us to another which was as bad. When I unwrapped my silverware the fork stuck to the napkin & tore it. We both ordered Chili Rolling which is a standard fare at most Mexican restaurants. Both dishes were terrible. The peppers were so tough you couldnt cut clean with a serrated knife. I shared my experience with the server & he said "sorry." Be warned. Stay away, there are good Mexican restaurants in the Shreveport area, but not this one.

So good ! Great food and service ! Salsa and chips fantastic ! Puffy tacos and enchiladas are great ! The Cancun on the dinner menu wow ! Prices are great for the quality of food and service . Make sure to ask for fresh made tortillas to pour honey and butter on for desert ( which are free ) ! Typically lunch and tea/coke for two about $30 bucks including $5 tip . Dinner a bit higher .

The best fajitas I've ever had. Tashi was the most attentive server to ever wait on me. By far the best dining experience I've had in a very long time. Can't wait to visit again. Keep up the good work.

The absolute worst Mexican food AND wait staff I have ever encountered. The booth was sticky and nasty. The staff mumbled and basically threw our food down. The food looked like they popped it in the microwave for 5 minutes- and tasted like it too. And the guacamole was absolutely terrible, bland, and had a whole half of the avocado unmashed in the serving dish. Just terrible! Save your money- and this place is ridiculously expensive.

Visited this place recently with a big group & had a very poor experience. The service was terribly slow and took forever to just take our drink order. There were a couple of young kids (under 3 yr old) with us and we wanted to get their orders out faster than the adult orders, but it all took so long that the kid and adult orders came out together (an hour later).d When we did get the food, it tasted like it was a microwave dinner - some of the meals were cold.I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.

This place is great... where else can two people eat for $5.00 and be full? I challenge anyone to beat this price! How is it done? Well, of course you get chips and salsa for free when you get to the restaurant, and everyone knows that you get water for free.... then order the chimichanga ala carte... for $2.50 each. Finish that off with free ice cream and sopapillas!

Overall experience was alright. I mean the server was nice and fairly quick. But the food was decent taste wise. It's just that it was so oily and greasy, my wife and I still have a stomach ache from it. Good salsa though.

On Friday, the 16th of September, we waited an hour to find our that our order was never put in. We had to get our own utensils, refill our own drinks, and chips. I spoke to the manager and he offered to take care of the bill the next time we ate there. We gave it a another shot tonight and it was just as bad. We waited 45 minutes for our food. The waitresses was horrible and the food was subpar. I told the manager of our experience and his answer was "they're busy". We won't be eating there again.

I'd definitely skip this place if you're in Bossier, LA. A few co workers and I wanted to grab some dinner. The reviews were from a couple years ago so we disregarded them and gave this place a try. Definitely not worth if. It's one of those places you eat at crossing your fingers that it's just decent enough to be satisfied, and then decide you leave thinking "Yeah, NEVER coming back here again." The food: Chips and Salsa- Chips were warm, but very thin. I appreciate the warmth but you end up with more broken pieces on the bottom of the tray than actual chips. Salsa was nothing special. Del Rio Combo Platter- Might have been a good dish if it wasn't completely smothered in what they call "chile verde", which was really just guacamole. *BEWARE* The amount of "chile" they dump onto the plate is ridiculous. I couldn't even see my chile relleno under the sauce. Ask for it on the side or I suggest skipping it all together. After literally scooping the sauce off I found the taste to be decent enough. Like I said, it was drenched in sauce so the taste may have been diluted... VERY diluted. The amount of rice was disappointing. Either it was buried under the sauce as well or the beans swallowed up half of it because the portion was very small and tasted bland. It came with a "fried taco" but the amount of lettuce on top made it look more like a salad. The PLATE was hot, the food was luke warm at best. Service: Our server couldn't tell us about anything on the menu. We asked about the platter, the Chicken Ixtapa(I think that's what it was called) and some other dishes. She actually picked up a menu and read the description on it to us. Then proceeded to tell us that she'd been working at the restaurant for over a year and had no idea what those dishes were! We were "making her work hard today". Mine you, all we did was ask about what kind of beef was one of the dishes, to which she responded"Um.. Im not sure... I think it's ground beef." sorry we asked. We went with the chicken plate instead and asked that if it came with Pico de Gallo to please have it on the side and her exact response was "I don't know what that comes with so whatever it comes out with I'll ask the guys to put it on the side". She forgot to bring us forks, we had to ask politely a second time and then remind her. We had told her in the beginning that it would be 3 separate checks yet brought out 2 and said "I must've misunderstood you". How do you misunderstand "It's going to be 3 separate checks, please."? After finally separating them she took our cards, one co worker paid with cash. After taking an order and entering it into the system she returned with The change and said "Um, I didn't have enough change to complete the $20 so if you're going to tip me can you just take it out of that?" I was completely shocked, but stood quiet while my co worker politely said "No problem I'll do that". Being a server myself, I would never say something like that. Especially after giving such horrible service. Even so, we tipped her. I am a server so I understand how it feels when you receive no tip when you give your best, but THIS... This was the WORST server experience I've ever had. She should not have received a tip in my eyes, nor the job she has if she is going to be treating people like that. Bad service, good food is doable. If it's worth it. Bad food, horrible service? WASTE OF MONEY. Do yourself and your wallet a favor, listen to the reviews. They aren't exaggerating. Go somewhere else.

I'm attracted to bright lights and taglines like "Fine Mexican Food" painted across the side of a brick building. MAN, this place is BIG, and crowded. Good signs. Wait a minute, Mexican food- but no Mexicans in sight. Something's wrong. Good-ol-boy manager, flambouyant waiter, the authenticity is disappearing. Hot chips appear on my table before I even sit down. They are paper thin, the salsa is sweet...too sweet. All wrong. Whoa....where are my $6.99 dinner specials. Everything's $11 or better. Is this truly a Mexican restaurant? Food is average at best. Even the water doesn't taste exactly right. My beer is served in a huge bowl shaped glass. I ate way too many chips and complimentary hot, doughy, flour tortillas. I am thoroughly unsatisfied. However, everyone is really friendly. Good for groups, but the food is MEH.

Wow, we LOVE Posado's. Granted we've only been to the one in Shreveport(on Bert Koon's). I did hear a lot of people say that the one is Bossier was NOT good. Anyways. The one in Shreveport is a favorite of ours. Their fajita tacos are some of the best tacos that I've EVER had! I also LOVE that everyone seated at the table get's their own bowl of salsa. It's most certainly not the best Mexican food that I've ever had, but it's very good!!

This place deserves 0 stars. The staff is horrible. The waitress I had rolled her eyes at me simply because I told her I would have someone else joining us and we would be there a while. Apparently selling drinks and more food, thus increasing your tip is not a priority for this lady. I hate to judge a place by one server but my other experiences in there have not been the best. Easily the most overrated mexican place in North La. Avoid it like the plague, it needs to go out of business.

Not the same place as we have enjoyed in the past! The food was only average the price was high the quantity was less than expected except for the rice and beans you get more than your fill there. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! The first time we ate here it was extremely late and about to close. The service was great but the food was average at best. We tried again and the service was horrible and the food was too. the manager begged us to try again and said he would comp the meal. We tried it for the 3rd and final time. the waitress was slow and didn't care about customer service so I didn't care about her tip. The food took 45 min to arrive and was still terrible. We addressed it with the manager and he didn't care either. So, if you want mexican in Shreveport/Bossier go to El Mariachi on the south end of Barksdale Blvd. They have great food. It is smaller and your typilcal hole in the wall Mexican food.

Call me crazy, but I liked the food. I had the Paco: a chichen enchilada, chile relleno, and two chicken flautitas served with rice and two sides for $11.98. The floors are concrete, and a little dirty, but the whole place is big and intended for serving a ton of people. I have a 2 yr old so I was glad the atmosphere is loud. The water is horrible, get yourself a drink. The service was great-arrived at 5:55 on a Saturday, seated immediately, and Josh, our waiter, was friendly and attentive.

My family has recently moved to the Bossier/Shreveport area and Posados had been recommended to us. We gave it a try and will not return to this establishment. We waited for 5 minutes for a hostess to come to the stand to seat us, then waited another 45 minutes after ordering our food before we received it. They did serve complimentary chips, salsa and tortillas which were plentiful. The food we ordered for our meal was nothing special. I would have just assumed ordered Taco Bell.

Good Tex-Mex food. If you're going for "authentic" Mexican food, keep looking. The complimentary chips, salsa, tortillas, sopapillas, and ice cream are still as plentiful as ever, but it seems the quality of the entrees has decreased over the years. It's still a good place to eat, but not at the top of the Tex-mex list anymore.

Worst mexican ever. Flour chips. Honey & butter as a condiment? Flavorless guac - I've had better from Sam's club. It's big and lots of people who either love fake mexican food or, like us, are from out of town and don't know any better. Avoid at all costs.

Worst mexican ever. Flour chips. Honey & butter as a condiment? Flavorless guac - I've had better from Sam's club. It's big and lots of people who either love fake mexican food or, like us, are from out of town and don't know any better. Avoid at all costs.
